Frequently Asked Questions about Fertility Preservation
Answering your most common questions about the entire preservation process.
Over time, both ovarian reserve and sperm quality decrease. Preserving your fertility allows you to protect your ability to become a mother or father in the future, at the time you decide. It is ideal if you wish to postpone motherhood/parenthood, are about to start medical treatments that could affect it (such as chemotherapy or surgeries), or have personal/professional reasons for doing so.
At Fertidonors, you can preserve your eggs, sperm, and embryos. We have cutting-edge technology such as Davitri for automated vitrification and Future Fertility, an artificial intelligence that analyzes the reproductive potential of eggs.
The egg preservation program has a cost of $3,500. It includes a free orientation consultation, a medical consultation with a fertility specialist, the complete egg retrieval procedure, the cryopreservation of the eggs, and 1 year of storage. Medication for ovarian stimulation and infectious disease labs are not included.
You can freeze sperm starting at $250 for 1 vial. However, we recommend freezing a minimum of 3 vials for $750. Freezing multiple vials significantly increases your chances of future success, offers medical flexibility, compensates for variations in sample quality, and saves you time and money by avoiding repeat processes. Some cryopreservation plans include 1 year of storage.
